Use of mobile device for teaching lifecycle of butterfly

 Introduction:-

Mobile phones have several applications that can be useful in the teaching and learning process including general software such as word,excel and power point and other application such as learning,mathematical problem and solving software. 

 Why mobile phone is used in teaching ?

There are multiple benefits of using cell phones as a teaching aid,including improved learning outcomes,increased engagaement among student and an  easier ability to keep students upto date about assignment.                          

 Lifecycle of butterfly                                                       

Life cycle is the stage of development of organism from its begining to its maturity.The lifecycle of butterfly is truly amazing .Butterflies have four life stages,the egg,the larva(caterpillar),the pupa(Chrysalis) and the adult butterfly .

1) Egg :-
 

 After mating,female butterfly lays eggs on leaves or flowers.The eggs are small and oval shaped.They are of different colours.They are attached to the leaves by adhesive fluid produced by the butterfly.

2) Larva (Caterpillar) 

After somedays,eggs change into small worm shaped larvae.Larva of butterfly is called caterpillar.The body of caterpillar is segmented and bears many feet.It is grey in color with spiny hair .The larva eats lots of leaves of plants.It grows quickly and changes to pupa stage.

3) pupa (Chrysalis)

When caterpillar stops eating,it produces gel like liquid from its mouth.The liquid covers the body of caterpillar.This stage is pupa stage.It is inactive ,it doesnot eat anything.The cover of pupa is called puparium.At this satge all body parts is developed.

                                                                4) Adult Butterfly

                                                           After some days,young butterfly with all body parts comes out from cocoon of pupa stage.When the young butterfly becomes mature,it lays eggs.Then the same process repeat and life cycle continue.It takes about 7 days to change egg of butterfly to adult stage

          The change of eggs to adult through different stages is called metamorphosis.
